The Unit of Educational Affairs
The Unit of Educational Affairs handles all issues regarding education.
Teknologkåren believes that everyone deserves as good of an education as possible, with clear connections to the working life and teachers who are pedagogical and well-educated in their field. To achieve these goals, the organization of Teknologkåren works daily in all parts of the university to drive the students' voice, whether it is about hiring a teacher or errors in the examination process. Head of educational affairs is responsible for how Teknologkåren handles the monitoring of courses and programmes, from central level, through our divisions and down to our programme advisories. Our head of educational affairs is the expert in questions regarding student rights and works as a support towards our divisions and their educational monitors.
In matters concerning education, education quality or the future educations, our head of educational affairs is the one who represents the technology students towards Luleå University of Technology. The head of educational affairs also has the overall responsibility for the jury of Supervisor of the Year and Teacher of the Year.
